Mccoy Tyner and Fly With The Wind

I have recently been listening to McCoy Tyner's music and loving his catalogue so far. His album Fly With The Wind has got me hooked, the big band strings and orchestration matched with his signature piano playing takes you to some distant land.  All musical parts fit so well creating a nice musical landscape and bliss for my ears.  

Alfred McCoy Tyner was an American Jazz Pianist born in 1938, in Philidelphia. He became well known for being the pianist in John Coltrane's Jazz Quartet, and in part helped define Coltrane's sound.

Tyner would later go on to record many successful solo albums as well as live performances.
